The Association of German Magazine Publishers The Verband Deutscher Zeitschriftenverleger (VDZ), based in Berlin, Germany, is the main magazine industry association and represents about 400 publishers that publish over 3000 magazines including well know titles such as Spiegel, Stern, Focus and Auto Motor und Sport. Deutsche Messe develops, plans and runs trade fairs and exhibitions in Germany and abroad including CeBIT, the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments with approximately 500,000 attendees. The Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers The Bundesverband Deutscher Zeitungsverleger (BDZV), based in Berlin, Germany, is the main newspaper industry association and represents 320 daily newspapers and 14 weekly newspapers including the Frankfurter Allgemeine, Handelsblatt, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Bild. |
Beate Borstelmann
Beate Borstelmann holds numerous responsibilities including the research, analysis, editing and production of German language deliverables. In addition, she has covered many new media conferences. Beate has work experience in both the US and in her native Germany. In her position as product manager at JP Morgan in Frankfurt, her responsibilities included competitive analysis, marketing, planning and product development. Beate holds a Diplom in Business Management and Economics from the University of Cologne.
Ray Min
Ray Min's responsibilities include research, analysis, business development and Web site. He has over 10 years of international consulting experience. He has worked with clients in a variety of industries including online media, Internet software, computer edutainment/ gaming, and direct mail computer products sales. Ray's former positions include Tomorrow Internet AG, senior strategist for Proxicom, senior analyst for Cambridge Management Consulting, and Director of Operations for Microwarehouse (Deutschland) GmbH. Ray holds a MBA from the Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. |
